Rio Tinto requires an 150 tonne heavy duty float for the movement of mobile equipment and fixed equipment varying in weight from 60T through to 125T. The design of the unit will require significant engineering to ensure robustness and fit for purpose. The build quality will need to ensure the float lasts for a minimum time period of 10 years. The float will require licensing as it will complete a duty cycle that will see it run on the road and off road.
