Operation of Swimming Pools and/or Wastewater Schemes

Wattle Range Council (the Council) invites Expressions of Interest from Registrants for the provision of services for the operation of three swimming facilities, supervision of two swimming facilities and/or operation of four community wastewater management schemes (the Services).

Council operates three (3) swimming facilities in Penola, Nangwarry and Millicent. Council also operates four (4) Community Wastewater Management Systems (CWMS) in Penola, Kalangadoo, Southend and Beachport. Currently Council staff operate and maintain the sites, using a mix of full time and casual seasonal staff. Council wishes to determine if this is the most effective approach going forward and is seeking expressions of interest from interested parties for one or more of the services.

There is no fixed view or predetermined outcome for this process so at this expression of interest stage, interested parties may nominate:
* Full time or part time operation
* Swimming facilities only
* CWMS only
* Both swimming facilities and CWMS
* Supervision of swimming facilities (eg. Lifeguards)

Council may enter into a contract for services with one or more parties. The length of the contract is open to negotiation, however no proposals will be considered in excess of 10 years.
