Expressions of Interest – Management of Nyngan War Memorial Pool

⁠⁠⁠Bogan Shire Council has decided to issue a new contract for the management of the Nyngan War Memorial Pool. As a result, we are now calling for expressions of interest from suitably qualified and experienced individuals and/or contractors who are passionate about making a difference to the community.

The Nyngan War Memorial Pool has undergone a substantial facelift in recent times. From the refurbished change rooms and rejuvenated facade to the installation of solar heating and the construction of a children’s splash play area.

Expressions of interest should include detail on what duties and responsibilities would be undertaken with the running of the 50m and children’s pools (including grounds, amenities and water quality management) as well as the kiosk and children’s splash play area. Council is also open to fresh ideas associated with the operation of the facility where a benefit to the community can be demonstrated. The expression of interest must include itemised details of the proposed contract price.

In preparing an Expression of Interest, it should be assumed that the following are the opening hours for the Nyngan War Memorial Pool:

Season start: 1 October 2019
Season end: 30 April 2020

October
Monday to Friday: 6.30am to 8am and 11am to 6pm
Saturday and Sunday: 11am to 6pm

November
Monday to Friday: 6.30am to 8am and 11am to 7pm
Saturday and Sunday: 11am to 7pm

December, January, February and March
Monday to Friday: 6.30am to 8am and 11am to 8.00pm
Saturday and Sunday: 11am to 8pm

April
Monday to Friday: 6.30am to 8am and 11am to 6pm

(Pool to be open for training purposes – hours to be negotiated – include relevant detail in the EOI)
