RFP Quantity Surveying Services New Dunedin Hospital

⁠⁠⁠The Ministry of Health is seeking proposals from suitably qualified Respondents who can offer a full and comprehensive cost consultancy and quantity surveying service for the New Dunedin Hospital Project.

The New Dunedin Hospital Project is managed from the Ministry's head office in Wellington and is being delivered on behalf of the Southern District Health Board.

The Ministry is seeking a Quantity Surveyor who is independent of the Project design and management teams, so proposals will not be accepted from firms already appointed to those roles.

It is acknowledged that Respondents may need to look outside their own business to put together a team who can deliver the full scope of services required in this RFP however joint venture, unregistered partnerships or consortia Proposals will not be accepted by the Ministry.

Respondents may engage sub-consultants to build the necessary service capability and capacity needed for a job of this scale.

Respondents are required to identify any proposed sub-consultants or sub-contractors. The lead contracting party will need to be identified and agreed.

This is a unique opportunity to be involved in the largest health related building Project undertaken in New Zealand to date. The new facility will support a modern healthcare system capable of addressing the needs of the Southern region for the next 40-50 years.

This RFP is an open competitive tender process. It is a single step procurement process.
