Disposal of Abandoned Vehicles By Public Tender

⁠⁠⁠Horowhenua District Council. Disposal of Abandoned Vehicles by Public Tender.
Horowhenua District Council intends to dispose of the following abandoned vehicles by public tender. Council has written to the last recorded owners of these vehicles, but they have not been claimed.

Vehicles to be disposed of by tender are:

• Year: 2006, Make and model: Toyota Aurion, Colour: Silver, Plate: DPA451, Location found: Purcell Street, Foxton.
• Year: 1994, Make and model: Holden Berlina, Colour: Blue, Plate: TK5123, Location found: Morgan Crescent, Levin
• Year: 1997, Make and model: Volkswagon Golf, Colour: Red, Plate: AYJ949, Location found: Queen Street, Levin
• Year: 1999, Make and model: Nissan Maxima, Colour: Green, Plate: YR6594, Location found: Grey Street, Shannon.
• Year: 1997, Make and model: Ford Fiesta, Colour: Silver, Plate: AWA915, Location found: Stanley Street, Levin.
• Year: 1996, Make and model: Mitsubishi RVR Sports Gear, Colour: Red/Grey, Plate: DKF254, Location found: Lindsey Road, Levin

Tender forms are available from Council's Main Office at 126-148 Oxford Street, Levin. Tenders close on Friday 28 June at 5pm.

Vehicles will be disposed of in 'as is, where is' condition, with the successful tenderer being responsible for removal. All vehicles have expired Registrations and Warrants of Fitness and are in varying condition.
