Northern Beaches Council Tender Rft 2019 113 - Northern Beaches Public Arts - Artists Panel
Northern Beaches Council (Council) invites Tenders for inclusion in the Public Art, Artist Panel (Panel). To be successful Tenderers will need to demonstrate they have the necessary qualifications, ability and experience to provide the required Public Art Services to Council.
The intent of the Artists panel is to provide Integrated Artworks that are high quality, permanent art that integrates with and complements Northern Beaches coastline's urban and natural landscape. Artworks commissioned under this Deed will include but not be limited to the following;
* Artistic excellence;
* Empathy to specific/nominated sites;
* Functionally such as seating, and;
* Diversity in function and form.
Artworks can include but is not limited to sculpture, immersive art, functional art, environmental art and murals.
It is anticipated that the Public Art Panel will consist of between 10-20 members. Council reserves the right to vary these numbers in accordance with its specific needs and may also invite quotations from organisations outside the Public Art Panel in specific circumstances.
Aboriginal Artists and Artists from the Northern Beaches Areas are strongly encouraged to submit a conforming tender submission.
The Contract term will be a maximum term of 4 years, made up of an initial 2 year period with 2 optional extensions of 1 year each available at Council's sole discretion.

Tenders close at 2pm on Thursday 25th July 2019 and must be fully received by this time. Tenderers must make sure they leave plenty of time to upload their tender submissions. Late or partial uploaded submissions may not be accepted.
