Pines IIIa Solar Drying Hall Upgrade

⁠⁠⁠The Works include design, supply, installation, testing, commissioning and certification of a wastewater sludge solar drying hall, all concrete and civil construction, process equipment and associated electrical and control works at the Pines Wastewater Treatment Plant in accordance with the Principal's Requirements including, but not limited to:

The Contractor is required to deliver for the Contract Works
i. Building works
ii. Plinths
iii. Installation of rail fixings
iv. Base plates, mounting plates and HD Bolts for all Equipment
v. Process equipment
vi. Electrical works, modification and integration into existing WWTP
vii. Under floor heating system infrastructure (assume hot water system)
viii. An options study into different forms/types of heating system that could possibly be used in conjunction with underfloor heating system listed in item vii above. Note install of the system is not included in the contract.

Equipment to be supplied and installed under the Contract includes:
i. Sludge turning and/or moving equipment complete with local control and power supply catenary etc
ii. Automated sludge distribution system including load-in conveyor, internal distribution system and load-out system
iii. Design, commissioning and testing of the sludge drying hall structure(s) including climate controlled ventilation system
iv. Access platforms and safety railings
v. All chemical handling systems (if required)
vi. All local control panels and control instrumentation
vii. All variable frequency drives and motor controllers
viii. Electrical wiring between all components, instruments, control devices, motor drives and starters, local control panels and site SCADA system
ix. All interconnecting equipment and materials to provide a fully integrated system into the existing works
x. The necessary safety devices
xi. All appurtenances necessary for completing the works under the Contract, incl fittings, protective coatings, HD bolts, fixings. Anchorages etc
