Fire Detection and Alarm Systems and Electronic Access Control Systems

Unless otherwise stated, the Contractor shall be responsible for the performance of the whole of the Works including such work as may be required, but not specifically described herein, in order to complete the Works.

In general, the following tasks shall be the responsibility of the Contractor:
* Mobilisation / demobilisation of all materials, equipment and personnel required to complete this Scope of Works;

* System design, typical designs and detailed designs, supply, construction and commissioning of a Fire Detection and Alarm System for the Project, for all buildings and facilities forming part of the industrial campus, including administration buildings (offices), workshops and process buildings, totalling approximately 20 buildings. The system is envisaged to include the following elements:
* AS 1670.1 compliant Fire Detection and Alarm System;
* AS 1670.4 compliant Emergency Warning and Intercom System (in specific facilities);
* Gas Suppression Systems;
* Graphical user interface alarm monitoring solution; and
* Interfaces to other building management and fire systems.

* System design, typical designs and detailed designs, supply, construction and commissioning of an Electronic Access Control System for the Project, for all buildings and facilities forming part of the industrial campus, including administration buildings (offices), workshops and process buildings, totalling approximately 20 buildings. The system is envisaged to include the following elements:
* Access card-based secure site and buildings entry and exit electronic access control system;
* Personnel mustering solution including muster stations and software;
* Mobile access-card readers for bus transport solutions;
* Graphical user interface alarm monitoring solution; and
* Interfaces to other building management and fire systems.

* Review of detailed designs by others, for conformance to system design requirements;

* Factory Acceptance Testing of Contractor materials and equipment;

* System Integration Testing of Contractor equipment together with other free-issued equipment and materials from other Project suppliers at the Contractor’s off-site premises;

* Participation in and assistance with, System Integration Testing of other contractor and Company systems;

* Site Acceptance Testing of Contractor equipment with other contractor and Company systems and equipment at Site;

* Participation in and assistance with, Site Acceptance Testing of other contractor and Company systems;

* Provision of “as-built” drawings and data; and

* Ongoing support of the Works including routine maintenance for a period of 1 year post commissioning.
