Clean & Green Silverstream (Giles Rd) Planting and Maintenance

⁠⁠⁠* We are seeking planting and maintenance services for the establishment of approximately 6650 native plants, alongside the Silverstream (Kaiapoi River) at Clarkeville, in both riparian plantings and blocks of lowland forest species. We have sourced plants from several nurseries to meet our eco-sourcing requirements and are looking for quality planting services that will ensure these plants establish well and do not fail due to poor planting or maintenance.

* The successful bidder will have a track record for quality planting and high plant survival, with access to staff and equipment to complete the work promptly and keep on top of maintenance in the following two years.

* Clean Green Silverstream, is an ECAN initiative to improve water quality, indigenous biodiversity, mahinga kai and recreation opportunities in and adjacent to the Silverstream, including a 27km loop trail and revegetation of the banks with indigenous lowland forest and wetland species.
