Tender Description
The Ministry of Health is seeking to enter into an owner controlled insurance programme that will assist with managing the risks associated with the construction of the New Dunedin Hospital including site clearance, design, consultation and fit out; as well as risks associated with the acquisition of property.
The Ministry requires an insurance broker to:
1. provide risk and insurance advice and recommend an insurance programme for the New Dunedin Hospital Project;
2. procure and manage fit for purpose insurance policies; and
3. manage claims.
It is a precondition to participating in this RFP that Respondents be able to demonstrate that they have provided insurance advisory and broker services to at least two (2) major construction projects, with a construction value of at least $200m, in New Zealand within the last 5 years.
