Tender Description
The Organisation
Western Power is a Western Australian State Govemment owned oorporation whioch is responsible for building, maintaining and operating an electricity network whioh connects over 1.1 million customers to traditional and renewable energy sources. Westem Power also curently maintains over 250,000 streetlights for local Councils and other customers.
The Scope
Western Power is seeking registrations of interest from suitably qualified and experienoed companies for Smart Streetlight Solutions.
Western Power have recently transitioned to fully featured LED luminaires across the full range of streetlighting products. Westem Power are now seeking vendors to take the basio "dusk-on and dawn-off" individual luminaire control into the future and provide dimming and enhanced asset management features to the network.
Western Power currently has a 7-pin NEMA photocell base available at every luminaire and the central management system location may be on premise or preferably cloud hosted in Australia. Western Power will review all communication technologies and protocols between the various devices that will future proof the network.
Western Power would like to understand the available products and services in the market to extend the offering to its Customers.
