Tender Description
Council is seeking quotations for the purchase and removal of steel yards and overhead walkways, loading ramps and cattle crush from the old Yass Saleyards located at 969 Laidlaw Street, Yass.
The site will have defined dual occupancy areas during the removal process sharing one entry point. The site is currently being used by contractors for the Yass to Murrumbateman Pipeline project. For insurance purposes the separate working and storage areas will be defined between both parties.
Steel is to be removed from the concrete and not cut at concrete level. Council is not considering split lots and is offered as an entire lot only removed from site.
Please submit your expression indicating payment per tonne of steel product. A weighbridge ticket will be required to confirm final tonnage removed.
