Tenders are invited from suitably qualified contractors for the following contract: Contract 19/16 Carpark & Footpath Resurfacing Programme 2018/2019.

This Contract is part of the Parks and Reserves Footpath and Carpark Resurfacing Programme. The Contract is to be split into two separable portions as follows.

Separable Portion A - Pearson Oval, Oxford.
Pearson Oval, which is located at the end of Dohrmans Road is used all year round for rugby and cricket. The existing sealed surface is at the end of its life, and this contract seeks to carry out pre-reseal repairs, as well as a full two-coat reseal of the oval.

In addition to the reseal works, the other tasks involved with Separable Portion A are:
· The installation of 3 standard sumps
· The installation of approximately 30m of 225mm SN16 uPVC
· Construction of a soak pit
· Reshaping existing carpark areas
· Construction of a new garden bed
· Preparing existing gravel surfaces for Grade 4/6 Chip Seal
· Installation of 100mm Perforated Sub-Soil Drain (Provisional)

Separable Portion B: Ashley Gorge Holiday Park and West Oxford Reserve.
Separable Portion B is located within the Ashley Gorge Holiday park located at 697 Ashley Gorge Road and at the West Oxford Reserve located next to 1214 Depot Road, Oxford.

The main tasks involved in Separable Portion B are:
· Construction of a new 500mm x 300mm Swale Drain
· Re-metalling and relevelling of existing carriageways
· Installation of approximately 11m of 300mm RCRRJ concrete pipe and head/end walls
· Rip, reshaping and sealing of existing carriageway defects
· Removing timber battens from a footpath including minor relevelling
· Removal and replacement of poor footpath subgrade
· Filling and compaction of existing potholes to match existing ground surface.
