Expression of Interest - Council Chambers Design Project

⁠⁠⁠The Shire of Mount Magnet is seeking expressions of interest (EOI) from suitably qualified persons/oreganizations to design either:

A new purpose built Council Chambers building at Lot 162 Hepburn St. Mount Magnet that is located next to the current Shire administration office complex, or

Design additions to the current Shire administration office complex

Notwithstanding either of the above options the EOI will need to incorporate designing internal renovations for the current Shire administration office complex.

The Shire of Mount Magnet resolved at its Ordinary Council Meeting (OCM) dated 27th of February 2019 that the location for the new Council Chambers project be Lot 162 Hepburn St. Mount Magnet. The site is currently occupied by a circa 1960s style 4x2 weatherboard residence that may be subject to demolition should be the EOI accepted by Council recommend its demolition in order to construct a new complex.
