The objective of this project is to deliver a scoping report and develop a prototype user interface to improve the data visualisation and analytical capacity of an Australian skills classification currently being developed by the Department of Jobs and Small Business (the Department).

The project’s aim is to create a stand-alone, prototype that enables clear, customisable and searchable visualisation that will show the network of links between occupations and skills which have been developed by the Department.

The project includes two delivery modules.

Module One: work with the Department to fully scope and analyse the implementation of the User Interface (UI) for the prototype. This work should deliver an itemised report detailing anticipated functionality, costing and timing.

Module Two: develop a UI for the prototype, fulfilling the required functionality outlined in the Objectives section.
