Design & Construction of Hughes Street Multi Storey Car Park located at Cabramatta

⁠⁠⁠Fairfield City Council is seeking tenders from organisation(s) that have appropriate certifications, qualifications, capacity, experience and a high standard of capability who can deliver the best value for money in the design and construction of the multi storey car park at Hughes St Cabramatta.

The finalisation of the detailed design will be undertaken by the awarded contractor for Hughes Street.

Cabramatta is vibrant and multi-cultural community. It has the largest Vietnamese community in Australia and is renounced for its cultural diversity, fresh produce and Asian food cuisines. The construction of the new car park located at Hughes Street Cabramatta will provide additional parking and ancillary facilities including a lift and public amenities to the local community and visitors to the area and will also link into the Dutton Lane Plaza Carpark.

Cabramatta Dutton Lane Plaza is owned and operated by Fairfield City Council and the retail area compromises over 20 tenants operating various hours, generally between 8am and 9pm. There are 275 car spaces within this building.

Council's data confirms that there is an average of 1,250 visitors entering Dutton Lane Plaza on a week day and an average of 1,700 on the weekends. Dutton Plaza also operates extended trading hours 4 days a week (Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights) up until 9pm. Mondays and Fridays are generally the busiest week days and weekends are busiest for trade within Cabramatta and this is when the car park is almost 100% occupancy (between 10am to 2pm)

Tender close at 2.30 pm AEST on Tuesday 25 June 2019 and submissions must be received in full prior to this time. Late submissions will not be accepted.
