Request for Tender - Goodooga Hebel Rd Sealing Works

The proposed scope of work is to provide a double/ double 14mm/ 10mm sealed surface

The nominated binder isC170 with 2% cutter and 0.5% adhesion agent. The cutter percentage will vary depending on the weather conditions. The assumed spray rate for the first layer is 1.5 L per m2and 1.1 L per m2for the second layer.

Council will supply Average Least Dimension(ALD)testing results for the contactor to confirm the seal design before proceeding with the works.

The quantities included in the schedule of work in this tender are estimated based on previous ALD results and consultation with local contractors; payment will be made as per the final design and the approved spray rates.

The proposed approach is to prepare a 2 km segment for sealing every two weeks; completing the 25 km project length, will require12 to 13 visits by the sealing crews.

A project shutdown due to hot weather will be planned overJan and Feb 2020.
