Routine Inspection and Maintenance of Fire Protection Systems and Equipment

AF18/424 - This tender is for the routine service/maintenance and repair of fire protection systems and equipment for Council owned facilities in accordance with Ministers Specification SA 76 and relevant Australian/New Zealand Standards.

The period of routine service/maintenance will commence on 1 July 2019 for a period of two years, up to and including 30 June 2021 with a further possibility of extension for up to one year with written consent of both parties.

Council requires the services of a contractor to maintain the fire protection, fire detection and emergency lighting appliances, etc. in a clean, neat, safe and highly functional state, promoting and reflecting Council's responsibility and functional commitment to fire safety, awareness and preparedness. As such, a program of inspection and maintenance of every item of fire proteciton equipment and fire detection system is required.
