Te Awamutu WWTP Stage 3 Upgrade Construction Contract

⁠⁠⁠Council has allocated funding in its 10-year plan, predominantly in financial years 2019/20 and 2020/21, for 'Stage 3' of a four stage upgrade to the capacity of
Te Awamutu WWTP located off Paterangi Road in Te Awamutu. A further allocation in the 30-year infrastructure plan for the 'Stage 4' upgrade has been allowed for in the year 2030.
Stage 3 includes providing additional aeration, new screens, new inlet and mixed liquor transfer pumps, a mixed liquor splitter, new clarifier and new UV disinfection system, plus ancillary support services.
