Tender Description
Council manages the repeater site (located at the highest point above Palmerston North) . The site incorporates a radio hut, two hardwood antenna poles and a generator hut.
PNCC are seeking contractors to build a new repeater site 100m north of the existing North Range Road repeater, which houses the PNCC water and waste water telemetry communications system.
The scope of works for this contract will include the following :
· Reformation of the vehicle crossing off North Range Road
· Preparation and construction of the tower foundation
· Construction of the building pad
· Liaise with the tower fabricators regarding their installation of the steel lattice tower
· Supply and installation of a polypanel radio hut.
· Supply and installation of a generator hut.
· Supply and installation of a permanent security fence and gate
· Connection of mains power to the site and new ICP allocation.
· Supply and installation of specified new generator and switching.
· Electrical fit out of buildings, including installation of all conduit, cable trays and earthing.
