Penrith Youth Hub (Early Intervention for Young People with Alcohol and Other Drugs Issues)

⁠⁠⁠Wentworth Healthcare Limited (WHL), provider of the Nepean Blue Mountains Primary Health Network (NBMPHN) is inviting suitably qualified organisations to submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) for the delivery of a Penrith Youth Hub (Early intervention for young people with Alcohol and Other Drugs issues). This EOI seeks to establish an innovative early intervention service for young people with risky use of substances and related psychosocial issues.

It will enable the provision of various community-based services and interactive spaces for people aged 12 to 25. This is a foundation opportunity to establish a Youth Hub in Penrith supporting young people from the Nepean Blue Mountains region. WHL is seeking to continue to build service capacity and is wanting to 'benchmark' a service model that could be applied across the Blue Mountains, Hawkesbury, Lithgow and Penrith local government areas in the future.

This activity will be funded for an initial 12 month period with an opportunity for a further 3 years extension. Applicants who submit an EOI and who are selected based on the assessment criteria, will be required to set up from 1 July 2019 and be fully operational within the first three months of commencement of contract.
