Lease/Licence of Botanic Gardens Function Centre, Kitchen & Cafe

⁠⁠⁠Wagga Waqga City Council (Council) is seeking submissions from parties interested in leasing or licencing premises at 43 Tom Wood Drive in the Botanic Gardens , Wagga Wagga.

The building was previously leased by a long-term tenant as a restaurant, function centre and cafe.

Council would now like to offer the building for other purposes and welcomes applications from private enterprise, training and education providers, social enterprises, community and recreational groups, recreation and fitness practitioners, restaurateurs, caterers, cafe operators and other interested applicants.

The building comprises a function room with mezzanine, bar and courtyard, commercial kitchen and a cafe with indoor and outdoor seating. The leasing opportunity is for the building as a whole, one area of the building or two areas of the building (eg, kitchen and cafe, kitchen and function room, cafe and function room).

Proposals for part of the building should confirm willingness to share the building and common areas with other tenants (eg, toilets, entry and exists) and agree to contribute to building operating expenses (eg, electricity, security costs).
