Tender Description
988 - The Waterfall Gully to Mount Lofty Summit Trail is currently being upgraded with improved drainage, creek bank repair, and concrete surfacing.
Wilsons Bog is a key section of the Waterfall Gully to Mount Lofty Summit Trail. The trail in this location is characterised by narrow trail width, steep embankments, consistent moisture and fill material.
A boardwalk has been designed to sit above the existing pathway. The boardwalk and associated infrastructure, approximately 140m, will connect with the new exposed aggregate concrete trail currently under construction and will result in a significantly improved pathway with respect to durability, public risk and amenity.
A design and specification for the boardwalk has been undertaken by FMG Consulting Engineers and Oxigen Landscape Architects. FRP Materials proposed will be supplied by the Principal.
The primary objectives are to reinstate improve durability and amenity of the trail through Wilsons Bog and to:
