Tender Description

St Mark’s College invites suitably qualified cleaning contractors to tender a fixed price contract for the cleaning of its secondary school Bosco Campus.

The contract will be for a period up to 3.5 years with a further 2 year option upon agreement between the parties on completion of the initial contract period.

St Mark’s College is a systemic Catholic Co-educational Primary and Secondary school in the Salesian and Good Samaritan Sisters traditions, and is part of Catholic Education South Australia.

The College is situated on two adjacent campuses being Benedict (Primary) and Bosco (Secondary) campuses located in the city of Port Pirie in South Australia’s Mid North and serves the educational needs of the Catholic community from Port Pirie and the surrounding regions.

In keeping with their Salesian tradition, St Mark’s College commit to forming young men and women of faith into good citizens. St Mark’s College currently has 930 students enrolled for 2019 with over 100 staff.  It is located at 455 The Terrace, Port Pirie which is 230kms north of the metropolitan area of Adelaide and located on the southern fringe of the City of Port Pirie. 

The College’s Bosco Campus is currently serviced by a blend of employee and contract cleaning staff.  It is expected that the Campus will be fully serviced by the successful Tendering Contractor with further service scope available on the retirement of employees.

The College prides itself on maintaining a high standard of education at a reasonable cost to its students, and is committed to becoming more environmentally friendly.  It is expected that the successful Tendering Contractor will partner with the College to meet these expectations.
