Supply of New Tyres, Retreading and Repairs to Existing Tyres

⁠⁠⁠AF18/417 This tender is for the supply of new tyres and tubes for Council's vehicle fleet and for the recapping, retreading and repair of existing tyres on Council operated plant.

The period of supply will commence on 1 July 2019 for a period of two years, up to and including 30 June 2021 with a further possibility of extension for up to two years with written consent of both parties.

The contractor will be required to undertake the following:

* Fitting - any tyre to any vehicle. This will include the rotation of tyres to ensure tyres are evenly matched;
* Balancing and Alignment - as required in accordance with industry standards;
* Punctures - repairs to any punctures found or reported by Council's authorised representative;
* Disposal - scrap tyres will be disposed of by the contractor;
* Maintenance - contractor representative to undertake a daily 3pm inspection of all fleet tyres, to be conducted at the City of Mount Gambier Works Depot, 265 Commercial Street West Mount Gambier under the supervision of Council's authorised representative.
