Tender Description
Suitably qualified specialist contractors are invited to tender for the Concrete Bridge Deck Grinding works on 9 bridge decks on the newly constructed section of the Woolgoolga to Ballina Project Pacific Highway. The works are located within Portions A, C & D with seven (7) bridges being located in Portion A, one (1) bridge located in Portion C and one (1) bridge located in Portion D.
The Works, known as “HW10 Pacific Highway Upgrade, Woolgoolga to Ballina – Concrete Bridge Deck Grinding”, are for the provision of deck grinding to reduce the finished level of the newly constructed bridge decks and approach slabs to provide a grooved finish to the tolerances and areas shown on the drawings.
The Contractor must be prequalified with Roads and Maritime Services under the National Prequalification System for Civil (Road and Bridge) Construction Contracts at Financial Category F1 or higher.
The organisation undertaking the pavement grinding must be registered with the Principal in Category R1.
All tenderers must comply with the New South Wales (NSW) Government’s Procurement Policy Framework (NSW Framework), Code of Practice for Procurement (NSW Code) and Implementation Guidelines to the NSW Code of Practice for Procurement: Building and Construction (NSW Guidelines).
