GBO rockbreaker engineering works

Project overview
Rio Tinto requires an upgrade of all rockbreakers at Brockman 4, Nammuldi Below Water Table and Silvergrass to allow for remote operation.

Scope of work
The Contractor will be required to:
1) provide engineering support to determine if the existing rockbreakers at Brockman 4 are suitable for a speed upgrade and life extension;
2) design proposals for automation of existing primary crusher cages and encapsulation of primary crusher area to allow for rockbreaking activities to occur within the cage;
3) provide detailed engineering of the selected cage proposals defined from the above;
4) provide design proposals and detailed engineering of grizzly modifications to the Brockman 4 run of mine (ROM) hoppers; and
5) generate installation and manufacture scopes of work.
