Tender Description
At the time of publishing this invitation to register an interest, the Works include the provision of all equipment, personnel and facilities required to undertake the design and construction of the North Star Airport, including the provision of:
* detailed earthworks;
* runway and apron pavements;
* pavement markings;
* Precision Approach Path Indicator (PAPI) (mains powered);
* runway power and lighting;
* refuelling infrastructure;
* terminal buildings (check-in area, offices, waiting areas, ablution facilities, baggage claim / loading facilities and emergency response building); and
* ancillary structures including fencing and car park.
The bulk earthworks construction and aerodrome airside design associated with the North Star Airport will be completed by others prior to these Works commencing.
The onsite Works are anticipated to commence in the 4 th quarter of 2019. All relevant Australian Standards will apply to the Works. The Iron Bridge Magnetite Project, including this package 662NSC1006 Airport is subject to internal approvals. The procurement process or scope may change at the IB Operations’ election, including to accommodate project budget and time requirements.
IB Operations invites expressions of interest (EOI) from capable and experienced contractors and suppliers, who are safety focused and price competitive for this 662NSC1006 Airport package.
