Project Details: Inventory Management System (IMS)
Metro North Hospital and Health Service (MNHHS) has a desire to potentially establish an Inventory Management System across identified high cost/high volume clinical areas in the four major hospital environments within a reasonable timeframe,
The objective of this early market engagement is to obtain responses from suppliers with regards to MNHHS’ approach to potentially establishing an Inventory Management System which may then be used to inform the best approach to any subsequent procurement activities.
The high-level objectives of any subsequent Inventory Management System would include:
* Selection and implementation of the core infrastructure to support the capability (in-house and cloud-based hosting are options to consider)
* Selection of appropriate hardware to support the capability in the clinical environment
* Establishment of an implementation program including education for clinical, management and financial professionals
* Support the successful implementation of the system across all identified priority areas
This exercise is purely an early market research and information gathering exercise which may or may not progress to a formal invitation to offer or similar exercise in the future. Solution selection, procurement and solution implementation are outside the scope of this exercise.
