Mechanical repair and overhaul services for heavy mobile equipment

⁠⁠⁠ Scope of work
Rio TInto requires a suitable supplier that can execute multiple large heavy mobile equipment (HME) mechanical repair and overhaul projects each year, and at times concurrently to meet Rio Tinto's annual capital maintenance forecasts that vary year to year.

The Supplier must:
- must provide mechanical repair and overhaul services (Services) for HME that operate in a highly corrosive environment;
- have specialist HME workshop(s) with blast and paint booths that can accommodate multiple HME such as dozers and graders concurrently;
- have in-house heavy duty fitter, boiler maker, auto electrician, painters, leading hand heavy duty fitter, supervisors, trades assistants that can perform the Services at a large scale;
- supply necessary qualified tradespersons to perform the Services;
- supply all plant, equipment and tools required to perform the Services;
- carry out testing and commissioning of all equipment;
- provide all services and safety management systems required for the Services;
- provide professional advice and recommendations to Rio Tinto to assist Rio Tinto with continuous improvements in products or services;
- provide any statistical data relevant to the Services as requested by Rio Tinto; and
- participate in project design, preparation and establishment of the Services as required by Rio Tinto such as preparing project cost estimates, scheduling, commissioning plans and the development of safe work procedures.
