The Department of Water and Environmental Regulation (DWER) is seeking to assess if, and how, telemetry might improve data availability and reduce data collection effort for groundwater monitoring.
The EOIDWER101919 Invitation for Expressions of Interest seeks the supply of instrumentation and associated software support services as required for a Groundwater Telemetry Trial.
DWER intends to, but is not obliged to, issue a restricted Request pursuant to which Invited Respondents will be asked to submit a detailed and fully priced Offer. The Request will describe the Customer’s detailed requirements for the supply of Instrumentation for Groundwater Telemetry and associated services.
DWER’s intention is to restrict invitations to respond to the Request to those Respondents short-listed through the Invitation of Expressions of Interest Stage 1 and Stage 2 (both phases). DWER however reserves the right to issue the Request as a public tender if circumstances warrant. This decision will be made at the sole discretion of DWER.
The Request release and subsequent department-wide roll out of groundwater telemetry is subject to budget allocation for the procurement and recommendations in an internal evaluation report of the benefits of telemetry.
