Preferred Suppliers for Heavy Vehicles and Plant Hire

⁠⁠⁠The Cloncurry Shire Council is committed to delivering road and other civil construction and maintenance projects in a safe, cost effective, efficient and quality manner to both the residents of the Shire and to other public users of these infrastructure projects.

In the undertaking of these works, Council often utilises earthmoving plant and associated equipment, which is hired from Contractors external to the organisation to make up any shortfall which Council cannot resource

Council also undertakes a number of construction projects within the Shire including:
* Road Maintenance Performance Contract for Department of Transport and Main Roads
* Major Projects such as:
* Flood Mitigation Works
* Roadworks;
* Flood Damage Restoration
* Town Street Maintenance;
* Shire Roads Maintenance;
* Minor Works Projects

Council is seeking suitably qualified contractors for its Preferred Suppliers of Heavy Vehicles and Plant Hire. For details of type of plant and terms and conditions of hire, please refer to the Request for Tender document and associated tender response schedules.

Council is conducting a tender briefing/information session for this tender. While not compulsory, any Local Suppliers interested in submitting responses for this tender are strongly encouraged to attend.
