Scope of work
Rio Tinto Iron Ore requires the installation of new electrical distribution equipment, maintenance of existing electrical distribution equipment and decommissioning of old electrical distribution equipment. These services cover the following electrical distribution components, though are not limited to:
(i) power poles;
(ii) overhead lines including communications over power line;
(iii) overhead switches, fuses, reclosers and other interrupters;
(iv) cable connections between overhead installations and other overhead/ground mounted installations;
(v) pole top transformer installation and LV pole mounted DB board; and earthing installations.
