Commercialisation of Seafood Shelf-Life Extension Technology

⁠⁠⁠The purpose of this project is to identify one or more suitable organisations who can commercialise the products developed by the Queensland Department of Agriculture and Fisheries (DAF) to extend the shelf-life of prawns, as well as attracting funding for further research and development to identify other applications for the products with different commodities, and then commercialise the product into these other sectors.

The objectives for this EOI are to:
* Identify an organisation/s that has the capability and capacity to commercialise the prawn shelf-life extension products
* Identify an organisation/s that also has the capability and capacity to commercialise new products
* Identify an organisation/s who has an interest in working with DAF through funding further research to develop the products for use with a wider range of commodities (ie fish fillets, red meat, chicken, fresh cut fruit and vegetables).

Submissions in response to this EOI must be lodged electronically on QTenders by no later than 11:00am, 3 May 2019. 

Submissions to the EOI are required to focus on the objectives outlined in Section 1.2 and the completion of the requirements specified in Section 3 of the EOI.
