Tender Description
The Contractor will be required to install laser gap detection system on 3 car dumpers at Parker Point (PPT) and EII. The system will need to integrate into the existing control systems and PLC logic and provide guarantees of increase performance to determine gap detection reliabiliy over the existing control system in place.
The works include all electrical and process control installation, commisioning and handover with drawings. The works must be carried out to Rio Tinto Iron Ore (RTIO) safety standards and comply with RTIO contractor management system (CMS) requirements. The works must be performed by qualified Contractor personnel with required qualifications including electrical licences, working at heights, cutting welding, electrical installation and project management.
