The Department of Education and Training (DET) is calling for submissions for 20m Pool Refurbishment located at Runaway Bay Sport & Leadership Excellence Centre, 1 Sports Drive Runaway Bay.

Refer 'Tender Documentation' attachment within for further details of the scope of work and requirements.

Tender closing: Offers must be lodged by Monday, 8 April 2019 at 02:00pm (Qld time). Any offer not properly lodged before the specified closing time and date may be rejected at the discretion of the Principal.

Submissions: Suppliers are required to submit their offer to Lisa Adamson (Operations Manager) via email at lprie24@eq.edu.au.

Site Inspection: A site inspection has been arranged at 1 Sports Dr, Runaway Bay on Friday 29th March at 11:00am (Qld Time), Suppliers are required to provide a confirmation of their attendance for the Runaway Bay Sport & Leadership Excellence Centre SITE VISIT with Lisa Adamson (Operations Manager) via email at lprie24@eq.edu.au byThursday, 28 March 2019, 5:00PM (Qld Time) .

The scope of works shall include but not be limited to the following:
* Removal of all existing internal tiles and all perimeter coping tiles
* Removal of any defective bedding/render that is encountered during demo works
* All required concrete cutting for new step at entry area of pool
* Patch sections of render and bedding prior to waterproofing
* Supply and install waterproofing to entire pool area along with pool gutters – ensure min waterproofing dry times are allowed for
* Supply and install ceramic tile for pool interior.
* Supply and install ceramic pool tile for swim lane and touch pads 
* Supply and install C3 Traditional step tread to ledges and steps
* Supply and install custom travertine coping stone to internal and external side of pool gutter
* Supply and install coping stones and all internal tiling works
* Supply and install a new 316 stainless handrail 
* grout and polish tiles ready for pool fill
* Supply of skip bins for waste
* Removal of all rubbish and clean up

Works to commence 15th April, 2019 and be completed no later then 5th of June, 2019"Specification Documents" in "Section 3 - Here is the detail".
