Esplanade Boardwalk - Timber Oiling and Maintenance

⁠⁠⁠Cairns Regional Council is inviting submissions from suitably qualified and experienced contractors for Timber Oiling and Maintenance of the Cairns Esplanade Boardwalk.

Tender enquiries, questions or clarifications should be directed via the online forum. Cairns Regional Council officers are unable to respond to verbal enquiries in relation to the tender. The forum will close three days prior to the closing time and date. Please ensure that all questions, information requests and clarifications are posted prior to this time.

We strongly recommend that you begin uploading your tender submission files at least two (2) hours BEFORE the tender closing time.

Completed responses must be lodged by uploading the submission to below website, using the response forms within the tender documentation.

Closing Time and Date: The tender closes at 4:30 PM, Tuesday 28 May 2019. Submissions must be fully received by this time. Late, verbal or emailed tenders will not be accepted.

Submissions will not be opened publicly. The lowest or any tender may not necessarily be accepted.

Contractors are required to attend a pre-tender product application and methodology demonstration session on Wednesday 8 May 2019 at 8.00am at the Cairns Esplanade McKenzie Street High Water Pier, Cairns. Attendance is a mandatory requirement. Quotations will not be accepted from Contractors that do not attend the product application and methodology demonstration. Council reserve the right to change the specifications prior to making a decision on the submissions received in response to this invitation.

Council may invite all Respondents to change their submission to take into account any change in the tender specifications.

Tenders are to remain valid for a period of 90 days from the Closing Time.
