Dry Salt Haulage Services – Port Hedland

⁠⁠⁠Rio Tinto - Dampier Salt is seeking expressions of interest for the haulage of Dry Salt in Port Hedland. Dry salt haulage services are crucial to the Company’s Port Hedland operations as it is the link between the Redbank salt stockpile and the port.

The current annual delivery target of salt hauled to port is forecasted at 3.2 million tonnes. This targeted amount does vary from year to year as shutdowns can impact operating schedules. The haulage route is performed on public roads as seen in the attached route map. The approximate distance of haulage (round trip) is 18km’s.
