Tender Description
As part of QUT’s Master Planning, QUT is actively exploring enhanced and/or alternative options for the design, management, funding and provision of its passenger transport and personal mobility service requirements. QUT is particularly interested in leading and demonstrating innovative service delivery models to take accessibility, mobility, and connectivity to the next level.
Queensland University of Technology (QUT) invites suppliers to submit a response to this RFI (RFI012019) for the provision of reliable yet innovative and sustainable transport and mobility solutions for QUT’s staff and students.
QUT is committed to encouraging and enabling sustainable travel behaviours by its 12,500 staff and 50,000 students currently working/studying at QUT’s Gardens Point and Kelvin Grove campuses.
QUT currently funds a dedicated inter-campus bus shuttle service (391 Bus Service) between Gardens Point Campus and Kelvin Grove Campus, free of charge to QUT staff, students, and eligible visitors. The service attracts more than 724,000 trips per annum, further details are included in the attached Business Requirements Document. This RFI is to determine how QUT can provide this service into the future, in line with QUT's Blueprint. A face-to-face briefing session will be held on Thursday 21 March from 9:15am - 10:30am to further explain the opportunity with potential suppliers.
