Muswellbrook Sewerage Treatment Works - Provision of Reuse Water

⁠⁠⁠Muswellbrook Shire Council is seeking tenders from interested contractors to purchase effluent treated water from Muswellbrook Reuse Water Treatment Works.

The Muswellbrook Reuse Water Treatment Works plant currently has the capacity of producing 1,000 megalitres of reuse water per annum that meets effluent quality requirements as per the Environmental Protection Authority NSW guidelines. The supply of reuse water to the successful Tenderer will be available upon completion of the existing contract, effective 1st July 2019.

Recycled water customers are required to enter into a formal Recycled Water Agreement with Muswellbrook Shire Council. The Agreement details legal arrangements such as infrastructure ownership and recycled water pricing.

In addition to the submission of completed requirements, the scope of services shall be as detailed in the Tender Specifications.

There will be a non-mandatory pre-tender meeting held Thursday 28 March 2019, at Muswellbrook Shire Council Works Depot, Carramere Road, Muswellbrook 10am.
