Tenders are invited from suitably experienced Contractors for the construction of the Saibai Sewage Treatment Plant (STP) effluent replacement ocean outfall pipeline on Saibai Island in the Torres Strait. The works to be done under Contract TSIRC 2019-149 – Saibai STP Ocean Outfall Replacement:
* Pressure cleaning of existing ocean outfall pipeline;
* CCTV of existing outfall pipeline (above ground and below ground sections);
* Underwater drone inspection of existing outfall pipeline;
* Following the results of the inspections:
* Construction of the replacement of above ground section (on seabed) only of the ocean outfall pipeline;
* Construction of the below ground section of the replacement ocean outfall pipeline (if ordered).
