Tender Description
Cairns Regional Council is inviting submissions from suitably qualified and experienced contractors to provideelectrical services required to upgrade power outlets for events and install compliant footpath and street lighting on Williams Esplanade, Palm Cove. The works are planned to be completed in a staged program.
The works shall include but not be limited to the following :
* Modifications to existing distribution boards.
* Supply and installation of new distribution boards.
* Demolition of existing distribution boards
* Supply and installation of new submains cables to new and existing distribution boards.
* Supply and installation of new power bollards, outlets and general power sub-circuit cabling.
* Supply and installation of luminaires and general lighting sub-circuit cabling.
* Supply and installation of pathway lighting, including luminaires, poles, footings and pathway lighting sub-circuit cabling.
* Demolition of existing lighting poles and sub-circuit cabling. Existing cable access system to be preserved.
* Supply and installation of lighting control circuits
* Supply and installation of access system, including conduits and pits. Boring of conduits to be included, as determined necessary for the complete conduit access system installation.
The tender closes at 4:30 PM, Monday 25th March 2019. Submissions must be fully received by this time. Late, verbal or emailed tenders will not be accepted.
