Tender Description
Supply of cranes to the Steelworks and Mines. Capacity varies from 14t Franna (or similar) to 190t crane.
The Steelworks is located in Whyalla while the Mines are ~60Km down the coast.
Whyalla is a city of 23,000 people located 350km North of Adelaide.
GFG Alliance operates two sites in Whyalla - a mine located 60km South of Whyalla and the Steelworks located on the outskirts of Whyalla.
Supply is for the whole of scope, ie partial scopes shall not be considered.
The scope will require the supply of cranes ranging from 14t Franna to 190t cranes. As a guide the following is offered:
* 14t & 25t Franna are used on site and may be dry or wet hire.
* 50t, 90t, 120t, 150t and 190t (or close to these capacity) cranes are generally used on both sites.
These cranes are used during shutdowns and for day to day work.
