Singleton Yard is located on the ARTC Hunter Valley Heavy Haul Rail Network between Whittingham and Camberwell, NSW. As part of ARTC's Annual Maintenance Program, the crossovers and turnouts at the Newcastle end of Singleton Yard are to be replaced with new tangential turnouts on concrete bearers.
A Signalling and Operational Specification (SFOS) document has been prepared defining the operational and functional requirements of the signalling system.
Signalling design addressing these requirements, is required to enable these changes.
The primary objective of the project is to renew:
a) Crossover 55 and 56 with new swing nose crossings (SNX)
b) Crossover 2B with new motorised turnouts
c) Turnout and catch point 2C with new motorised turnouts
The secondary objective is to address existing operational constraints within Singleton Yard.
Completed responses must be submitted via the electronic tender box (see option below). This Tender uses two (2) tender boxes as follows:
1) The first tender box "05829 Section B Part 1" is to be used to submit Section B Part 1 Commercial Schedules, including the Excel based Fee Schedule; and
2) The second tender box "05829 Section B Part 2 and Other" is to be used to submit Section B Part 2 Technical Schedules and all other Tender documentation.
