Newcastle Airport Refurbishment Projects 2019

⁠⁠⁠Newcastle Airport (NAPL) is inviting Expressions of interest from suitably experienced Principal Contractors who are skilled and experienced in commercial construction and would be willing to be preregister to tender on the Airport's upcoming 2019 Refurbishment projects including;

1. The Newcastle Airport Office Reconfiguration Level 1 East
The scope of work incorporates the completion of Principals Concept design for the reconfiguration of the Terminal offices including the strip out and demolition of the existing office and amenities, upgrading the offices, staff kitchen, joinery, services and finishes to suit the new design layout, co-ordinate the supplier's installation of furniture and workstations.

2. Pre Stage Departures Lounge Efficiency Project
The scope of work incorporates the improvements to the existing Airports Departure lounge area including modifications and reconfiguration of retail areas, joinery, tables and seating. The works includes new installations and enhancements to the ceilings and wall finishes for overall enhanced aesthetics and acoustics. This project would seek to maintain sufficient operational continuity and security within the airport as a public transport facility.

3. Check in Area Refurbishment
NAPL seek to improve customer experience with upgrade/ refurbishment to the existing Check IN area including refinish walls, ceilings, new lighting and upgrade passenger screening areas to accommodate Principal supplied/supplier installed passenger screening equipment.

For each Contract Principal Contractors would be required to safely manage the Works with comprehensive WHSE&Q management systems to implement the works, achieve specified design and standards and manage work within an operational public transport facility, whilst maintaining sufficient operational continuity and security.
