Request for Proposals to Lease - Old Weighbridge, 2 Phillimore Street, Fremantle

⁠⁠⁠The City of Fremantle is seeking Requests for Proposals to lease the Old Weighbridge at 2 Phillimore Street, Fremantle. The Weighbridge Station was historically used as an entrance to the Fremantle Ports where goods and containers were weighed prior to entry. The building consists of two rooms with separate entrances; a combined area of 24.63m2. The property is listed on the Heritage Register and controlled by a Management Order in the name of the City of Fremantle.

Old Weighbridge

The entire area, including the building, available to lease is 189m2. There are no water or sewer connections to the building. The City is advertising the property “as is” and requesting proposals for uses consistent with its classification as a Class 5 building. This may include uses such as office or hire facilities (e.g. scooter or bike). The City is prepared to consider proposals outside the selection criteria provided all changes are financed by the proponent.

Lease amount: $10,000 p.a. + outgoings
Lease term: 5 years
