The Department is seeking experienced software development team with deep skills in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) to deliver an enhanced content management system. The successful vendor will provide a development team with the AEM product specific technical and development skills to build the content management system using an agile methodology

The Department intends to implement an enhanced content management system using Adobe Experience Manager (AEM). The purpose of this tool is to produce and edit new content, utilise a dynamic workflow process to approve content, and publish this content to internal users, as well as to external users and systems.

To achieve this the Department will establish a multi-disciplinary Implementation Team. In addition to members of the AEM Development Team (the subject of this procurement), the Implementation Team will also include Business end-users, and other specialists with complementary stills in IT Security; Business Analysis; Project Management; User centred design; User experience design; Change enablement and Technical Assurance.

The Department is seeking to engage a vendor to provide an AEM Development Team. The AEM DEvelopment Team will include individuals skilled in software development using the AEM product suite, such as:
1) Leading an agile development team (eg Scrum Master);
2) Environment Master;
3) Technical specialists, such as developers, solution architects and testers.

While the Department is seeking a single vendor to provide members of the AEM Development Team, the Department is also seeking an independent AEM consultant to provide objective technical assurance and guidance to the Implementation Team throughout the implementation process. This procurement process will also be used to identify one or more individuals who could fill the key assurance role.
