Mosman Municipal Council invites tenders for the lease and management of the Balmoral Bathers' Pavilion, 4 The Esplanade, Mosman. The term of the Lease will be 20 years. It is proposed that the Lease shall commence on 1 January 2020 dependent upon completion of upgrade works to be completed by Council in the period surrounding the termination of the current Lease on 31 December 2019.

The objective of this tender is to enter into a contract with a suitable commercial operator to sustainably lease and manage the Bathers' Pavilion for use as a restaurant which maintains a low impact on the surrounding area of natural beauty and minimal disruption to the amenity of residences at Balmoral, whilst obtaining the best possible return to the community for the commercial use of a public asset. It is Council's expectation that the restaurant will remain as a destination and community hub for locals.
