Dredging Project - Lake Bungana, Maylands WA

⁠⁠⁠The City of Bayswater is a local government in Perth, WA. The City has a number of constructed lakes that have an aesthetic role, but also provide a drainage function and are designed to receive stormwater runoff from the local road network. A number of stormwater inlets discharge into the lakes, and aerators are located within each lake.

As part of a program to improve water quality, the City is seeking the services of a contractor to undertake dredging works for one of the lakes (Lake Bungana). The outcomes will be used to determine whether remediation of the other two lakes will be done in due course. A technical report has been prepared for the City by GHD and will form the basis for the works.
