Tender Description
Tenders are invited for the design and construction of a multi-storey car park in Mooloolaba that will deliver a minimum of 700 car parks. The multi-storey car park is to be constructed on a portion of the existing on-grade car park located on Brisbane Road, Mooloolaba.
All approvals are the responsibility of the Respondent and are to be obtained independently of this procurement process. Council cannot give any assurances of planning approval during the procurement process.
The work under this contract will be completed in two (2) stages, with Stage 1 covering the design and Development Approval process and Stage 2 covering the completion of design and construction works for the multi-storey car park.
This is a lump sum contract, with Respondents initially required to submit a fixed lump sum price to complete Stage 1 and estimated lump sum price for Stage 2. Following receipt of Development Application approval, Council and the successful Respondent will negotiate the fixed price lump sum for Stage 2.
Stage 1 is to be completed by 13 September 2019 to allow construction to commence on 14 October 2019 and achieve practical completion by no later than 31 October 2020.
